Job Description:
The Judge Group is seeking a Reliability Engineer for a
manufacturing company located in the Pell City, Al area. Title:
Reliability EngineerLocation: Pell City, AlSalary: $95,000 -
$105,000Key Responsibilities:1. Equipment Strategy Development:o
Develop an efficient strategy for equipment maintenance,
considering all relevant data and information about the maintenance
process and activities.o Create a strategy that allows for the
efficient use of production/process equipment.2. Problem Solving
and Solutions:o Identify solutions to recurring equipment
problems.o Propose the best solutions to prevent equipment
breakdowns and minimize production downtime.3. Design and
Feasibility:o Analyze product or equipment specifications and
performance requirements.o Determine designs that can be produced
by existing manufacturing or processing facilities and methods.o
Evaluate the feasibility of designing new plant equipment or
modifying existing facilities, considering costs, available space,
time limitations, company planning, and other technical and
economic factors.4. Engineering Software and Design:o Utilize
computer-assisted engineering and design software to create designs
for plant equipment and facilities.5. Project Management:o Develop
expense and capital projects, including generating scope of work,
alternatives, estimates, project papers, specifications, and
budgets.o Execute expense and capital projects by selecting
contractors, writing requests for quotes, awarding bids, overseeing
contractors and internal maintenance personnel,
inspecting/approving work, and closing projects.6. Technical
Expertise:o Provide technical information related to manufacturing
or protecting techniques, materials, properties, and process
advantages and limitations.o Contribute to long-range plant and
product engineering planning.7. Compliance and Analysis:o Ensure
compliance with all environmental, health, and safety (EHS)
regulations.o Analyze operational and test data to drive continuous
improvement.Qualifications:--- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
(Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).--- Experience in
maintenance, reliability, or process engineering.--- Proficiency in
computer-aided design (CAD) software.--- Experience in cement,
mining, oil & gas, pulp/paper, etc. a plus
