Job Description Job Description The Senior Accounting Associate
is responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and compliance
of the organization's financial records. This role plays a critical
part in the month-end and year-end close processes, financial
reporting, and analysis. The position supports core accounting
functions including reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, fixed
assets, and audit support, while partnering cross-functionally to
maintain strong internal controls and adherence to GAAP and company
policies. Key Responsibilities Execute monthly and year-end general
ledger close processes, including preparation and review of related
reports Prepare and maintain balance sheet and income statement
reconciliations; research and resolve discrepancies Prepare and
post journal entries in accordance with GAAP and internal
accounting policies Analyze financial results and investigate
variances, providing clear explanations to management Prepare,
review, and distribute monthly financial statements and supporting
schedules Validate and maintain customer exemption certificates in
compliance with regulatory requirements Manage capital asset
requests, maintain fixed asset records, and oversee depreciation
schedules Administer the company Health Savings Account (HSA) bank
account Assist with annual external audits, including preparation
of schedules, documentation, and audit support Support annual
budgeting, forecasting, and labor studies Maintain and support
customer web portal setup and Motus administration Provide backup
support for revenue recognition, accounts receivable, and accounts
payable functions as needed Assist in maintaining the general
ledger in compliance with GAAP and company policies Contribute to
the development, maintenance, and improvement of internal controls
and accounting procedures Collaborate cross-functionally with
Sales, Operations, Finance, and other departments to support
business objectives Participate in ERP system implementations,
upgrades, and other special accounting projects as assigned
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience Strong
working knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting
Demonstrated experience with month-end and year-end close processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting ERP systems Strong
analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to
manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced
environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $68,000.00 per year Search managed by:
