Position Summary As an Assembler you will be responsible for performing assembly work utilizing lean principles (one-piece flow) to produce FDA regulated devices in a controlled collaborative work environment. Shift: Monday-Thursday 4:30pm - 2:00am and Friday 11:00am-3:00pm The Experience, Skills and Abilities Required: - High school graduate/GED /n Other: /n - Previous assembly experience with small or complex assemblies preferred; 1 - 2 years. /n - Ability to perform in-process inspections and testing preferred; 1 - 2 years. /n - Communication - Ability to read, understand and communicate oral and written instructions in English. /n - Reasoning Ability - Ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving parts and equipment variation while maintaining quality expectations. Ability to identify, communicate and trouble shoot problems. /n - Teamwork - ability to work effectively and collaboratively with other employees. /n - Computer Skills - Will be required to enter data at a computer terminal. /n - Mathematical Skills - Basic counting and arithmetic skills required. /n /n Required Experience 1. Previous assembly experience with small or complex assemblies preferred; 1 - 2 years. /n 1. This position is eligible for bonus participation. Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed.
