Master Electrician Prefabricated building system manufacturer that specializes in electrical substation control buildings and communication shelters is seeking an experienced Master Electrician that can immediately contribute to increasing capacity within our Electrical Dept. Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of electrical systems, including both commercial and industrial applications. This role requires a strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. As a Master Electrician, you will be responsible for electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Duties and Responsibilities · Leads, guides, and/or trains other electricians in applicable procedures and techniques · Ability to lead a project, may grow into leading the area · Effectively interprets blueprints/technical drawings · May perform work of lower-level electricians · Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices · Reads, employs, and updates electrical panel schedules · Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned · Comprehensive knowledge of electrical wiring, circuits, equipment, and control systems Requirements: · Ability to pass a drug screen and background check · Minimal 4 years Electrical experience · Working knowledge of construction math, blueprint and technical drawing interpretation, and power/hand tool use-including use of conduit bender · Ability to perform job specific physical requirements under the specified working conditions including, but not limited to: Willing to work on knees, willing to work outside when necessary, lifting 50lbs · Ability to travel to job site locations for installs and troubleshooting (may be overnight, out of state) · Willing to perform all assigned tasks and be self-sufficient and self-motivated · Reliable and timely transportation · Willing to work doing tasks outside of this job description as needed, including housekeeping duties in work area Job requires PPE including steel toed or EH Composite toed shoes/boots · Willingness to work overtime as needed, including some Saturday’s (usually half days) ability to stay until tasks are finished properly – flexible end of day (jobs may require staying past regular end of shift) Job Description Updated: 05/03/2024 Note Job Descriptions may change and/or update due to the need for labor in other areas and/or at the request of supervisor.
