Job Description Job Description Overview: Repairs, maintains, and troubleshoots engines that power smaller machines — not cars or trucks, but things like: Lawn mowers, Chainsaws, Generators, Pressure washers, Snow blowers, Leaf blowers etc. Skills and Experience: Diagnose and repair small engines for lawn mowers, chainsaws, generators, and pressure washers. Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, carburetor adjustments, and spark plug replacements. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems using diagnostic tools and service manuals. Maintain clean and organized work area and ensure timely completion of repairs. Inspected, disassembled, and repaired 2- and 4-cycle engines, including commercial landscaping and construction equipment. Rebuilt carburetors, replaced ignition systems, and overhauled engines to restore full performance. Accurately documented service reports, labor time, and parts usage. Provided excellent customer service by explaining repairs and offering preventative maintenance recommendations.
