Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12
school setting located in Akron, OH. This contract role runs from
January through the end of the school year, offering an excellent
opportunity to provide specialized speech-language services in a
dynamic educational environment. Key Qualifications and Skills:
Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with
experience in school settings Eligibility to practice as a Clinical
Fellowship Year (CFY) SLP or Credentialed Clinical Competence (CCC)
holder Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly
within healthcare or educational environments Strong knowledge of
speech therapy assessments, intervention strategies, and
compensatory services for students Ability to collaborate
effectively with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals
Primary Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language assessments
and develop individualized treatment plans for students Provide
direct speech therapy services targeting various speech and
language disorders Implement compensatory services for students as
needed to meet educational goals Maintain detailed documentation of
services provided and student progress Collaborate with educational
staff to support communication development across settings
