School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A K-12 school
in Akron, OH, is seeking two experienced school psychologists for a
contract position starting ASAP through June 3, 2026. This role
involves supporting students from kindergarten through 5th grade,
including both general education and special education students
with various disabilities. The position offers a 35-hour workweek
and may involve working in one or two school buildings. Key
Responsibilities: Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations
for K-5 students. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special
education teams to develop appropriate intervention plans. Support
both general education and special education students with diverse
needs. Monitor student progress and provide guidance on behavioral
and emotional support strategies. Qualifications: Valid
certification or licensure as a school psychologist. Experience
working with K-5 students across general and special education
settings. Strong assessment and evaluation skills for various
disabilities. Ability to work independently across one or two
school sites. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
