Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A qualified
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology
Assistant (SLPA) is needed for a contract position serving a K-12
school in Wetumpka, Alabama. This role involves providing speech
and language services across two school sites in a supportive
educational environment. The assignment begins as soon as possible
and continues through May 22, 2026. Key responsibilities include
assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and
communication disorders in school-aged children. You will
collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other
professionals to develop and implement individualized education
plans (IEPs) that meet state and federal guidelines. Maintaining
detailed and accurate documentation of student progress and
participation in multidisciplinary meetings will be essential.
Qualifications and desired experience: Certified SLP with
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or licensed SLPA
Experience working in healthcare, pediatrics, school settings, or
clinical fellowship year (CFY) Ability to deliver services across
two school sites efficiently Strong communication skills to engage
students, parents, and staff Detail-oriented with excellent
organizational abilities Location: Wetumpka, ALtwo school sites
within a 40-minute drive north of Montgomery and approximately one
hour south of Birmingham. Work schedule: 37.5 hours per week,
Monday through Friday, during the contracted school year. This is
