Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding
opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to
support a diverse caseload in a school setting located in Pinson,
AL. This contract position runs from ASAP through May 23, 2026, and
involves working directly with students to provide critical speech
and language services within a learning center environment.
Responsibilities: Manage a caseload of approximately 49 students,
including a high-needs group primarily in 5th grade and below,
along with some high school students. Deliver individualized
speech-language assessments, interventions, and progress
monitoring. Collaborate with educators and other professionals to
create and implement effective therapy plans. Maintain accurate
documentation and comply with school policies and standards.
Provide direct therapy services onsite, with flexibility for hybrid
or virtual options if feasible. Qualifications: Valid Alabama
Speech-Language Pathology license (AL SLP). Certificate of Clinical
Competence (SLP - CCC) preferred. Experience working in a school
setting, particularly with high-needs student populations. Strong
communication, organizational, and teamwork skills. Ability to
adapt therapy methods to meet varying student needs. Schedule:
Part-time, 4 days per week. Hours: 7:30 AM 2:00 PM. Onsite work
required, with some flexibility for hybrid or virtual arrangements.
