Technician Job Description Join a leading provider of low voltage
services in southern Wisconsin, specializing in the design and
implementation of fire alarm, security, nurse call, access
controls, and audio-video systems. As a Low Voltage Technician, you
will play a crucial role in installing, maintaining, and repairing
electrical systems operating at low voltage. Responsibilities
Install electrical wiring and equipment according to building plans
and specifications. Maintain records of all work performed,
documenting maintenance, repairs, and installations. Troubleshoot
malfunctions when systems aren’t working correctly, including
repair, replacement of parts, or upgrades. Test systems to verify
safety and efficiency by measuring voltage, resistance, and
amperage levels. Program alarm systems via programmer or keypad.
Essential Skills 1-3 years of experience in electrical knowledge
and understanding of low-voltage systems. Desire to constantly
improve skills and learn new things. Valid driver’s license and a
clean driving record. High School Diploma or Equivalent. Additional
Skills & Qualifications Experience with fire alarm, nurse call, and
access control systems. Capable of performing physical labor,
including carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50 lbs.
Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as
climbing ladders, working within ducts, and crawl spaces. Why Work

environment. Work Environment Low voltage technicians work in
various settings, including office buildings, schools, hospitals,
clinics, and new-construction sites. The team currently consists of
13 technicians and 6 inspectors, and you will have the opportunity
to work in small groups or independently. The work schedule is a
day shift from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. Job Type &
Location This is a Permanent position based out of Madison, WI. Pay
and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45760.00 -
$72800.00/yr. 401(k) - after full year of service 401(k) matching
