You'll be a key player in ensuring our clients' comfort by installing, servicing, and repairing heating and air conditioning systems for both commercial and residential customers . HVAC Technician Duties and Responsibilities Travel to homes and businesses as scheduled to perform work. Diagnose customer concerns with their current HVAC system. Inspect current HVAC systems for effectiveness and safety. Perform necessary repairs and routine preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment. Install new heating, cooling, and ventilation systems, ensuring they run smoothly. Maintain accurate inventory of all equipment and HVAC resources. Utilize sales experience to upsell future service contracts and units to customers. HVAC Technician Requirements and Qualifications Previous experience in HVAC or other related mechanical fields. (2 years preferred) Completion of an HVAC training program at a vocational school or apprenticeship is preferred. Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams and blueprint reading . Ability to handle a physical workload. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Proficient with manual and power tools. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Reliable and self-motivated with leadership potential. Certification through the Environmental Protection Agency to handle refrigerants is preferred.
