At Koch Foods, a leader in the poultry processing industry, we are seeking a skilled Plant Maintenance Tech to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be pivotal in maintaining the optimal operational efficiency of our manufacturing equipment and systems. This role entails a robust involvement in routine maintenance check-ups, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring all plant machinery and infrastructure comply with safety and quality standards. Situated within our state-of-the-art facilities, this position plays a crucial role in supporting our mission to deliver quality poultry products through innovative and efficiently maintained operations. Conduct regular maintenance, servicing, and repair work on plant machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure efficient operations. Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical failures and implement timely solutions. Collaborate with other engineering and production teams to optimize machine performance and reduce downtime. Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company and OSHA standards. Participate in the installation of new equipment and systems as part of capital improvement projects. Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals. Experience with predictive and preventive maintenance schedules. Proficiency in using tools and equipment for repair and maintenance tasks. Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician (CMRT) preferred OSHA Safety Certification
