Layup Technician Duties: o Fabricate composite parts by laying pre-preg or wet composite fabrics onto molds according to blueprints, ply books, and engineering specifications o Prepare molds and tools, apply resins, perform vacuum bagging, and assist with curing processes using ovens or autoclaves o Trim, cut, and sand cured composite parts to meet precise aerospace tolerances o Perform in-process inspections using tools such as calipers and gauges to verify ply orientation and quality standards Schedule: o Day Shift o Monday to Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Pay: $25 per hour Layup Technician Requirements: o High school diploma or GED o At least 2 years of composite or layup experience o Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, CAD models, and work instructions o Basic computer skills and ability to learn and use Microsoft Excel and ERP systems o Ability to lift up to 40 pounds Benefits offered by Verstela to temporary employees: o Medical o Dental o Vision o Short Term Disability o Term Life and AD and D o Identity Theft Protection o Prescription Plan o 401(K) Retirement Savings Plan Benefits offered by employer upon permanent hire: o Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance o 401(k) with 5 percent match o Paid time off and referral program o Tuition reimbursement o Health savings account and flexible spending account options o Employee assistance program o Quarterly bonuses Location: Kent, WA Interested in this Layup Technician opportunity?
