Description Cimarron is seeking an Engineering Support Specialist to support the Missile Defense Agency's System Integration, Test and Readiness (SITR) contract in Huntsville, AL. SITR is responsible for the overall Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Element engineering and integration, including physical and logical integration of the GMD Element and Components with the Missile Defense System. Cimarron's team members will be instrumental in ensuring the GMD Element of the Missile Defense System continues to provide safe, reliable and responsive capability to defend the U.S. homeland. We welcome you to be a part of this challenging and important program! Key Duties: Support the GMD Risk, Issue and Opportunity Execution Plan (RIOEP). Participate and manage the RIOEP with participation in MDA activities, boards, and working groups for test findings, incidents, discrepancies, and observations, including applicability to future test events and the development of corrective actions and burn-down plans. Develop and manage the RIO Standard Operation Procedures and Government-approved Charters. Develop, deliver, and maintain a Mission-Based Cybersecurity Risk Management Plan. Requirements Required Skills, Experience, and Education: Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time. Active or Interim Secret clearance. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent presentation and meeting management skills. Ability to provide backup to other teammates when needed. Ability to understand risk and data. Willingness to elevate concerns or raise a question about RIOs that need to be elevated to the SITR level. Ability to understand the software, specifications, and hardware affected by certain risks and the scope of a particular SRR, PDR, and/or CDR. High School diploma or equivalent and 3 or more years of relevant experience, or Associate degree. Additional Requirements for Senior-level: Associate degree and 6 or more years of relevant experience. Desired Skills, Experience, and Education: Active Top Secret Clearance. Experience with RIO (Risks, Issues, and Opportunities). Experience with one or more elements of the Missile Defense System.
