Job Description:
The Registered Nurse 1 position involves assessing, planning,
implementing, and evaluating patient care to ensure optimal
outcomes for patients of all ages.
Responsibilities include conducting age-specific assessments,
collaborating with healthcare teams and families to develop and
update care plans, accurately administering treatments and
medications, and documenting all care using electronic medical
records.
Patient and family education, advocacy, and cultural support are
essential components of the role.
Requirements include a nursing degree from an accredited program,
Virginia RN licensure or eligibility, CPR certification, and
proficiency in electronic medical records (EPIC). Completion of
orientation and competency assessments is necessary.
This full-time position is based in Obstetrics and Gynecology, with
daytime hours Monday through Friday.
