About The Position We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in North Carolina, starting Aug 18, 2025. The role involves a Monday through Thursday schedule with potential flexibility, primarily focusing on primary care for a new patient panel. This opportunity allows the practitioner to establish and manage patient care as the panel grows, starting with a lower volume and increasing to 22-24 patients. Job Details - Location: North Carolina - Facility Type: Primary Care Clinic - Start Date: Aug 18, 2025 - LOA: 120 days - Provider Type Needed: Family Nurse Practitioner - Schedule: Monday to Thursday, preferred (flexible) Responsibilities and Duties - Establish and manage a new patient panel in a primary care setting. - Begin with a lower patient volume, increasing as the practice grows. - Ensure comprehensive care and follow-up as patient numbers increase to 22-24. - Utilize Epic EMR system to document patient interactions and care plans. - Adhere to standards for Basic Life Support (BLS) and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) compliance. Additional Information - Basic Life Support (BLS) and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certifications required. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential. - North Carolina licensure must be active and in good standing.
