About the Facility Location The facilities are located in Pell City (1) and Birmingham (2), Alabama. About the Clinician's Workday Location 1: This site sees about 27K annual visits (74 daily) with 12 ED beds and no fast track/PIT. Coverage includes 24 MD hours in 12-hour shifts (6a6p / 6p6a) and 20 APC hours daily in 10-hour shifts (9a7p / 1p11p). EMR: Cerner.\nLocation 2: This site has 39K annual visits (~2.35 patients per hour) with 37 beds (3032 typically in use). Physician coverage runs a variety of 810 hour shifts weekdays and weekends, while APCs cover 2728 hours daily with PIT on weekdays. No scribes. It is a Level 3 trauma center (currently on diversion), with specialty backup and admitting/bridging orders. EMR: Cerner.\nLocation 3: This site manages 34K annual visits (92 daily) with 29 regular beds, 4 fast track beds, and 5 hall beds, plus PIT coverage.
