team dedicated to delivering high-quality care to individuals
recovering from acute heart disease and related conditions. Key
Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive nursing care to stepdown
patients with heart-related diagnoses. Monitor patient status
closely, managing treatments and responding to changes promptly.
Utilize Epic for accurate and thorough electronic charting.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient
outcomes. Float to related units within the float pool as needed to
meet staffing requirements. Maintain certifications including BLS,
ACLS, and NIHSS to ensure adherence to best practices. Desired
Qualifications: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with stepdown
nursing experience. Familiarity with heart disease diagnosis and
treatment protocols. Proficiency in Epic electronic medical
records. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Flexibility to work 36 or 48 hours per week, including every other
weekend. Willingness to float within the float pool and assist in
like units as required. Up-to-date BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
certifications. Compliance with immunization policy, including flu
and COVID vaccines (medical or religious exemptions accepted).
