be considered. Deliver skilled nursing care in a step-down unit,
specializing in patients transitioning from intensive care with
complex cardiovascular conditions. This role requires proficiency
in managing heart disease cases, utilizing critical certifications
such as BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS, and delivering precise care in a
fast-paced, focused setting with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4.
Location The position is based in Alabaster, Alabama, a welcoming

both working professionals and families. Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to step-down patients, primarily
dealing with heart disease treatment and monitoring. Utilize Epic
for accurate, timely charting and documentation. Float to related
units within the float pool as needed. Work a schedule of either 36
or 48 hours per week, with every other weekend on call. Adhere to
hospital policies including wearing navy blue scrubs and fulfilling
vaccine requirements, with exceptions accommodated for medical or
religious reasons. Qualifications and Experience Registered Nurse
(RN) licensure with experience in step-down nursing.
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required. Proficient in caring for
patients with cardiovascular diagnoses. Experience using Epic
electronic health records system. Comfortable with flexible
floating responsibilities within similar unit settings. Additional
