Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Tuscaloosa, AL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,002 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/19/2026 About the Position Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 1 year in the specialty field License: Registered Nurse license (Alabama or compact, no temporary licenses accepted) Certifications: AHA BLS or Red Cross CPR Must-Have: - Associated degree in nursing - Minimum 1 year of experience in the specialty field Description: This position requires a willingness to float to other units and hospitals. Work hours may be 36 or 48 hours per week. Holidays are required as needed. The General Surgical Unit specializes in exceptional postoperative care for surgical patients. Nurses in this area maintain a 1:6 patient ratio. They are trained in all aspects of postoperative care, including pain management and mobility. Bedside procedures are also part of this role. A comfortable and healing environment for each patient is highly valued. Collaboration is key, involving local family practice physicians and surgeons.
