Emergency Medicine opportunity located in the Birmingham, Alabama
area. This role offers the opportunity to practice in a
well-established emergency department with strong clinical support,
stable coverage, and a collaborative care environment. The position
is ideal for an Emergency Medicine physician seeking consistent
scheduling, clinical autonomy, and long-term stability. POSITION
OVERVIEW The Emergency Medicine Physician will provide
high-quality, patient-centered emergency care in a hospital
setting. Responsibilities include rapid assessment, diagnosis,
stabilization, and treatment of acute and emergent conditions
across all age groups. The physician will work collaboratively with
nursing staff, advanced practice providers, specialists, and
hospital leadership to ensure safe and efficient patient flow. This
is a clinically focused role supported by experienced ED teams and
hospital resources. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Evaluate, diagnose, and
manage a wide range of emergency medical conditions Provide timely
assessment and stabilization of critically ill and injured patients
Perform emergency procedures consistent with training and scope of
practice Collaborate with consulting services and inpatient teams
for admissions and transfers Ensure accurate, timely documentation
in the electronic medical record Adhere to hospital protocols,
quality standards, and patient safety initiatives SCHEDULE &
PRACTICE SETTING Hospital-based Emergency Department Team-oriented,
physician-led coverage model Stable and predictable scheduling
structure Support from nursing staff, APPs, and specialty services

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine Active
