Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1 years
Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A specialized role is
available working with K-12 students requiring intensive behavioral
support in Trussville, AL. This contract position involves
providing one-on-one aide services to a middle school student
exhibiting mild to severe behaviors. The ideal candidate will have
experience as a Behavior Specialist or ABA Therapist and be
prepared to manage complex behavioral challenges with skill and
sensitivity. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one behavioral
support to a 6th-grade student with mild to severe behaviors.
Implement individualized behavior plans with fidelity. Employ
de-escalation techniques and crisis prevention strategies.
Collaborate closely with involved parents and school staff.
Participate in prescreening processes as required. Maintain
accurate documentation of behavioral interventions. Qualifications
and Experience: Male candidates only, due to specific behavioral
needs. Experience as an ABA Therapist or active/inactive RBT
certification. Certified in CPI or an equivalent de-escalation
training program (certificate required). Ability to complete
fingerprinting and background checks per state education department
standards. Strong understanding of behavior management in
educational settings, particularly with lower IQ students.
Availability to work onsite from 7:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., 37.5 hours
per week. Comfortable working with students who may exhibit
disrespectful behavior toward female staff. Location: Onsite
position in Trussville, AL serving a middle school student within
the local K-12 school system. This position offers a unique
