registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience
required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not
be considered. Provide specialized nursing care in a Level IV
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, supporting critically ill newborns
and their families with advanced medical and surgical needs. This
contract position offers the opportunity to work in a nationally
recognized pediatric hospital known for its patient- and
family-centered approach, located in Madison, WI. Schedule & Hours:
Day shift: 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. 12-hour shifts, Monday through
Friday Required to work 2-3 weekends per 6-week scheduling period
Key Responsibilities: Deliver expert care to neonates with complex
medical and surgical conditions in a 26-bed NICU Manage
post-operative patients and provide care involving g-tubes,
tracheostomies, vents, and various invasive/noninvasive ventilation
modes Utilize Epic electronic health record system (recent
experience preferred) Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to
support infant and family-centered care from admission through
discharge Maintain required certifications and demonstrate
competency in telemetry and basic arrhythmia monitoring
Qualifications and Experience: Minimum 2 years of total NICU
experience at Level III/IV, including at least 1 full year in a
Level IV NICU Must hold a Wisconsin RN license or compact license
from a permanent address state within 50 miles of Madison Current
BLS certification through the American Heart Association NRP
certification required Experience in telemetry and ability to pass
a telemetry competency test before starting Location
