A travel Registered Nurse opportunity is available in Kent, WA, providing critical school nursing care with a focus on one-on-one student support. This role involves working within a preschool health room and providing dedicated individual nursing support at a high school setting during the school week. Key Responsibilities: Deliver nursing care in the preschool health room on Mondays and Wednesdays. Provide one-on-one nursing support at the high school on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Administer G-tube feedings, including initiating feedings upon school arrival and stopping feedings before the student departs on the bus. Collaborate with paras who assist with transfers and brief hygiene changes, ensuring seamless student care. Maintain communication and training with the students family members and school nursing staff. Participate in bus rides as part of the students transportation routine, ensuring safety and care continuity. Qualifications and Experience: Current and active Registered Nurse license in the state of Washington. Prior one-on-one nursing care experience preferred. Competence in routine care practices including G-tube feeding and basic hygiene assistance. Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with student support staff and family members. Ability and willingness to travel and work in multiple school settings throughout the week. Position Details: Location: Kent, WA (travel assignment across school sites). Schedule: 32.5 hours per week. Role type: School nursing with travel between a preschool and high school setting.
