You will work directly with patients and a team of other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal medical and nursing care in a medically diverse unit. Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a MedSurg setting. Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Record patients' medical information and vital signs. Administer medications, monitor recovery, and educate patients and their families on post-hospital care. Maintain a high standard of safety and cleanliness in the workplace. Strong clinical skills in a MedSurg or similar unit. Proficient in using medical software and patient care equipment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to think critically and make decisions in high-pressure situations. Adept in physical assessment and administering medications. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Life Insurance Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama. BLS Certification, required; ACLS preferred.
