Gifted Healthcare is seeking a qualified Travel or Local MedSurg Registered Nurse (RN) for an immediate position in Pell City, Alabama. Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a MedSurg unit. Monitor patient conditions and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice. Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physicians. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate patient treatment plans. Administer medications, monitor side effects, and document treatment results. Maintain accurate patient records and prepare reports on patients’ status. Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and preventative health measures. Strong clinical skills in a hospital setting Proficient in the use of medical software and equipment Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Valid RN license in the state of Alabama or a compact state Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification preferred
