Job Description Position Overview UF Health Leesburg Hospital is
seeking an experienced Cath Lab Manager to lead the operational,
clinical, and strategic direction of our Cardiac Catheterization
Laboratory. This role is responsible for managing daily operations,
driving quality and patient safety outcomes, optimizing staffing
and resources, and supporting growth in cardiovascular services.
The Cath Lab Manager plays a critical leadership role in ensuring
high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered care while partnering
closely with physicians, nursing leadership, and hospital
administration. Key Responsibilities Provide operational and
clinical leadership for the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory,
including diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures
Oversee staffing, scheduling, competency management, and
performance development for cath lab technologists, nurses, and
support staff Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, and
state regulatory standards Drive quality improvement initiatives,
patient safety metrics, and best-practice clinical outcomes Manage
department budgeting, capital planning, and supply chain
optimization Collaborate with cardiologists, electrophysiologists,
vascular specialists, and executive leadership to support service
line growth Monitor and improve throughput, case volumes,
turnaround times, and patient experience Lead recruitment,
onboarding, retention, and professional development of cath lab
staff Support readiness for STEMI programs, accreditation surveys,
and performance benchmarking Implement evidence-based practices and
technology advancements in cardiovascular care Required
Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Cardiovascular
Invasive Specialist (RCIS), or Registered Radiologic Technologist
(RT-R) Active Florida license or eligibility for licensure Minimum
3–5 years of recent Cath Lab leadership or supervisory experience
Strong knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures, workflows,
and regulatory requirements Proven experience managing clinical
teams, budgets, and quality metrics BLS required; ACLS required or
obtained within required timeframe Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related
field (Master’s preferred) Experience in high-volume interventional
cardiology or STEMI-designated programs Prior leadership experience
within an acute care hospital or cardiovascular service line Strong
data-driven decision-making and performance improvement
