nurse is needed for a stepdown care unit in Leesburg, GA. This
contract position requires a dedicated nurse with a strong
background in managing patients in progressive care and stepdown
units, ensuring high-quality, compassionate care. Candidates must
meet specific criteria including a minimum two years of experience
in a large hospital's PCU/Stepdown environment and previous
successful travel assignment experience. Qualifications: Valid RN
license with at least 2 years of experience in a progressive care
or stepdown unit within a large hospital Completion of at least one
successful travel nursing assignment (no first-time travelers) Must
reside within a 75-mile radius of Leesburg, GA, as per drivers
license address verification Strong clinical assessment and
critical thinking skills Ability to work independently and as part
of a multidisciplinary healthcare team Responsibilities: Provide
direct patient care to stepdown unit patients, monitoring their
condition closely Administer medications and treatments according
to care plans Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare
professionals to develop and implement patient care strategies
Educate patients and families on health management and recovery
processes Document nursing activities and patient progress
