Job Description Occupational Medicine opening in Dayton, OH
DaytonUnder the general supervision of the Occupational Health
Medical Director, the physician serves in a leadership role
directing and coordinating all clinical services involving
professional and medical judgment. The physician provides direct
patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of
occupational injuries or illnesses. This role requires close
collaboration with company representatives to facilitate timely
return-to-work outcomes. Position Details Provide direct patient
care for occupational injuries and illnesses Perform physical exam
assessments, including: - DOT exams - Pension Board physicals -
Company-requested specialty physicals Serve as Medical Review
Officer (MRO) Coordinate care with employers to support
return-to-work initiatives Adult patient population (18–64 years)
Requirements Minimum Education Required: Medical Doctorate Degree
Types: MD or DO Active Medical License Medical Review Officer (MRO)
Certification CDME – Commercial Driver Medical Examiner
Certification Minimum Experience Required: 3–5 years of related
experience Occupational Health or Urgent Care experience: Preferred
