Role: Registered Nurse (RN) Neonatal Intensive Care Location:
Bessemer, AL Unit: NICU, 32 beds Shift: PM Weekly Hours: 36 hours
guaranteed Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend, totaling 24 hours
Call Requirements: None Patient Ratio: 3:1 EMR System: Cerner
Contract type: Contract assignment Qualifications: Minimum of 2
years nursing experience in Neonatal Intensive Care Required
Certifications: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Basic Life
Support (BLS) Ability to maintain patient ratios and comply with
unit protocols Adherence to dress code policy: navy scrubs, natural
nails (no gel, acrylic, or embellishments) Responsibilities:
Deliver expert nursing care to neonatal patients requiring
intensive monitoring and treatment Collaborate with
multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized
care plans Maintain accurate patient documentation using Cerner EMR
