Job Description:
Gifted Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Travel ICU RN to join
our team in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. This position offers the
opportunity to work in a dynamic, patient-focused environment,
where you will deliver specialized care and advanced treatment that
improves patient outcomes. Serving as a critical component of our
healthcare team, you will be responsible for managing various
life-supporting machines, administering treatments, and ensuring
that all critical care procedures are followed according to
clinical guidelines. Assessing patient health problems and needs
and developing nursing care plans. Monitoring, recording, and
reporting symptoms or changes in patient conditions. Managing life
support and life-sustaining equipment. Administering medications,
wound care, and numerous other personalized interventions. Direct
and supervise care delivered by other healthcare personnel like
LPNs and nurse aides. Interpreting patient information and making
critical decisions about needed actions. Coordinating with
physicians and other healthcare professionals for creating and
evaluating customized care plans. Advocating for patients’ and
families' needs, or providing emotional support for patients and
their families. Proficiency in managing intensive care unit
technology Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle
high-stress situations and make decisions under pressure Excellent
time management and multi-tasking skills Current Registered Nurse
licensure in state of Alabama BLS certification ACLS certification
CCRN certification preferred
