PAY $22-$25 PER HOUR DOE


POSITION SUMMARY:
Supports customer requirements and material efficiency by utilizing CNC programming to tool and nest sheet metal parts on turrets, lasers and punch equipment.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
--- Interpret engineering blueprints to draw (program) flat pattern layouts of parts
--- Make proper machine and tooling selections to manufacture parts in the most efficient manner.
--- Request procurement of tools necessary
--- Prepare detailed standardized work instructions and set-up sheets
--- Utilize software to continuously improve run time and programming time
--- Contributes to product planning in areas of expertise.
--- Supports Sales, Manufacturing and Customers as needed
--- Communicate with and support management in a timely manner
--- Ensures Matthews quality policies and procedures are followed

QUALIFICATIONS:
--- High school diploma or equivalent
--- Working knowledge of AutoCad, SolidWorks, or other similar software
--- 2+ years experience in similar field
--- Strong math skills
--- Detailed oriented with ability to multi-task
--- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Prior experience with Amada turrets and tooling knowledge is a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

--- Requires ability to frequently talk and hear
--- Requires ability to sit frequently up to 7.0 hours per day
--- Stand and walk occasionally up to 1.5 hours per day
--- Stoop, bend and reach occasionally up to1.5 hours per day
--- Lift/carry items ranging from 0 lb - 25 lbs occasionally up to 1.5 hours per day
--- Requires long periods of viewing a computer screen
--- Requires close vision, distance vision and depth perception

Must pass Drug Screening and Background Check
Hours: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday - Friday
Steel Toe Boots Required in Facility
