Job Summary
The Department of Animal Sciences at Auburn University
(www.auburn.edu) is seeking applications for an Outreach Programs
Administrator to oversee a Natural Resources Conservation Service
(NRCS) Conservation Innovation Grant (CIG) focused on promoting the
adoption of methane-mitigating practices in beef cattle operations
across the state of Alabama. The individual selected for this
position will serve as the central coordinator, ensuring the
success of the grant's initiatives by fostering relationships with
farmers, leading outreach efforts, and providing strong
organizational leadership. This is a 4-year, limited term
appointment. Continued employment will be contingent upon
availability of funds.

Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Level I: Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Agricultural Science,
Environmental Science, or a related field; no experience
required.
Level II: Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Agricultural
Science, Environmental Science, or a related field and 2 years of
experience in the design, implementation, delivery and management
of educational programs/services.
Level III: Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Agricultural
Science, Environmental Science, or a related field and 4 years of
experience in the design, implementation, delivery and management
of educational programs/services.
Minimum Skills, License, and Certifications

Minimum Technology Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management
tools.
Minimum License and Certifications
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within
Alabama.
