Inventory Manager is responsible for managing the Warehouse
Operations and Inventory to ensure safe and efficient operation of
material handling and inventory.--OWNERSHIP: Owns inventory
accuracy and traceability of all inventory movement.-- Responsible
for ensuring the annual physical inventory is properly performed
and inventory records reflect actual quantities on hand.-- Train
and mentor warehouse associates on processes, machinery and
operating procedures.---- Ensure accurate recording and processing
inventory transactions of raw materials and finished goods.----
Oversee daily material transfers from warehouse locations to Point
of Consumption.-- Examine incoming shipments and reject and report
any discrepancies to management.-- Responsible for moving inventory
into backflush locations in a timely manner.-- Ensure proper
processing of receipts in Sage X3 in accordance with company
policies and procedures.-- Oversee the rotation delivery of raw
materials in storage area and warehouse racks according to FIFO.--
Maintains log of drop trailers that are staged in trailer parking
lot by contents, date, and trailer number.-- Coordinate the
immediate removal of all RMA requests and non-conforming
material.---- Ensures the performance of scheduled cycle counts for
all raw materials and review variances with Buyer/Plant Manager.--
Uphold and manage team participation in all Corporate
Responsibility programming including recycling, social advocacy and
MMAD volunteering opportunities.---- Invests in and is an example
of Milo's Responsibility commitment which includes environmental,
social and corporate governance components.-- This position has
responsibilities essential to Food Safety and Quality.-- Perform
other duties as assigned.-- --QUALIFICATIONS: All applicants must
have either a High school diploma or general education degree
(GED); and five years related experience andor training; or
equivalent combination of education and experience.
Applicants must have the ability to perform basic mathematical
function and the ability to prepare correspondence.-- To perform
this job successfully an individual should have knowledge of MS
Office and working knowledge of Sage X3 inventory
functionality.----PHYSICAL DEMANDSWhile performing the duties of
this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to
handle, reach with hands and arms, see, talk and hear. The employee
is required to stand, walk, stoop or kneel. The employee must
regularly lift andor move up to 50 pounds.-- Specific vision
abilities required by this job include close vision.----While
performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly
exposed to moving mechanical parts, to wet andor humid conditions
and extreme cold. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme
cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
All applicants must have the ability to stay at work station and
area for three continuous hours.--
