Job Description:

Job Title: Technician II - Engine Assembly - D ShiftCompensation: $44.28 per hourLocation: Huntsville, ALSchedule: D Shift, 5:00 PM - 5:30 AM, Friday - Sunday.Technical Skills Needed:

• Strong mechanical background, especially in the assembly of mechanical or structural parts.
• Experience in a quality control environment, ensuring high accuracy with minimal errors.
• Proficiency in using a variety of assembly tools.
• Previous experience with engine assembly (any type) is highly advantageous; candidates with experience in automotive engine manufacturing may be particularly suitable.Responsibilities:

• Precision assembly of engine components.
• Perform diagnostic, disassembly, repair, and root cause analysis of components.
• Conduct nitrogen and helium leak testing.
• Prepare components for environmental and hydro proof structural testing.
• Uphold strict cleanliness standards for compatibility with liquid/gaseous oxygen.
• Support the design and integration of manufacturing and test equipment.
• Maintain inventory of tooling and equipment.
• Define procedures for preparing hardware for tests, qualification, and flight.
• Develop and refine manufacturing methods to improve quality, reduce costs, and optimize build schedules.
• Identify and rectify non-conformances and process deviations.Minimum Qualifications:
  • 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing or engine assembly.
  • Mastery of precision and tight tolerance assembly.
  • Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings and follow specifications.
  • Proven experience in developing new manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent communication skills and software proficiency (CAD, Microsoft Office, etc).Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience in aerospace, aviation, or automotive fields.Work Authorization Requirements:
      • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
