Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A full-time Special Education Teacher opportunity is
available for the 2025-2026 school year serving K-12 grade levels.
This contract position is based in Tuscaloosa, AL, within a
supportive school environment focused on providing tailored
educational experiences to students with special needs. Key
Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education
programs (IEPs) for diverse K-12 students. Collaborate with general
education teachers, therapists, and families to support student
growth. Use data-driven assessment tools to monitor student
progress and adapt instruction accordingly. Maintain accurate
records of student performance and behavioral interventions. Foster
a positive and inclusive classroom setting that promotes social and
academic success. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid
teaching certification with specialization in Special Education.
Experience working with students across K-12 grade levels in
special education settings. Strong understanding of IEP
development, special education laws, and classroom management
techniques. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to
engage effectively with students, parents, and staff. Location:
