Manager/Site Safety and Health Officer Job Description We are
seeking experienced professionals for the role of Construction
Manager/Site Safety and Health Officer to oversee construction
sites and ensure the highest standards of quality and safety are
met. The ideal candidate will collaborate with Project Managers,
Engineers, and Customers to successfully execute multiple projects
and have a robust background in the construction and safety
industries. Responsibilities Effectively manage multiple projects
with multiple employees and/or subcontractors. Read construction
prints, submittals, and other technical documentation and manage
implementation, ensuring quality and safety. Create and review
Requests for Information, Requests for Proposal, and Change Orders.
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with specifications,
approved manuals, and procedures. Ensure projects are constructed
and documented in accordance with contract documents and
engineering practices. Perform change order estimating and assist
Project Managers in negotiations. Coordinate and monitor schedule
updates, invoices, and submittals. Assist in managing and reviewing
the progress of construction schedules. Review weekly and monthly
reports on contracts' status and progress, including project costs
and potential changes. Conduct client program meetings as needed.
Monitor compliance with safety and health requirements. Conduct
safety inspections/audits to ensure implementation of safety,
health, and environmental procedures. Research and implement new
site safety practices. Analyze accident reports and evaluate injury
case studies. Prepare and conduct safety training sessions for
employees and subcontractors. Ensure compliance with all regulatory
bodies and standards. Essential Skills Minimum 5 years of
construction safety supervisory experience. Experience in HVAC,
HVAC controls, Plumbing, or Electrical design-build construction
projects. OSHA 30 Hour Certification. First Aid/CPR Certified.
Construction Quality Management for Contractors. EM 385-1-1
Awareness Training. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience
on Government installations/projects is preferred. Familiarity with
project and department budget processes and tools. Knowledge of
project controls. Risk assessment and management skills.
Administrative policies and procedures knowledge. Conceptual
planning ability. Conflict management and problem-solving skills.
Leadership ability. Excellent communication, meeting, and
presentation skills. Comfort with time reporting systems.
Familiarity with MS Office Schedule software and Primavera is
preferred. Ability and willingness to travel. Plumbing, HVAC, or
Electrical License is a plus. Work Environment The candidate will
be traveling to various construction sites to ensure projects are
completed on schedule and within safety guidelines. A collaborative

based out of Madison, AL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this
