Job Description Job Description Senior Controls Engineer Title: Senior Controls Engineer Location: Carrollton, TX Salary: $115,000 - $155,000 We were founded in 2007, is a systems integrator that designs and implements automated material handling and warehouse systems for retailers, distributors, and eCommerce operations. We deliver conveyor, sortation, storage, and controls software solutions at scale. Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Controls Engineer to lead our automation and control system projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems for industrial processes, focusing on efficiency and reliability. Key Responsibilities Design and develop control systems for various industrial applications. Implement PLC programming and HMI design for automation projects. Create and maintain Master Control Panels and Bill of Materials for projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project specifications are met. Troubleshoot and optimize control systems to enhance performance and reliability. Utilize AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical for control panel design and schematics. Integrate various automation technologies, including VFDs and sensors from manufacturers like Cognex, Keyence, SICK, and Datalogic. Manage network configurations, including VLANs and virtual machines (VMs), for complex control systems. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in controls engineering or automation. Proficiency in Allen-Bradley Studio 5000 and Siemens TIA Portal. Strong knowledge of control system components, including VFDs and sensors. Experience with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical for design purposes. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
